Transportation Manager
Salary: $128,971 to $156,788 DOQ (plus $4,000 hiring bonus)

The Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing both transportation planning and engineering operations, as well as the maintenance of crucial city assets. Some of the key responsibilities include supervising the design and inspection of traffic-related projects; supervising staff for development review, traffic studies, and transportation planning; overseeing traffic engineering operations to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation systems within the City; and leading efforts in traffic impact analysis, corridor studies, and transportation system modeling.
The City desires candidates with Bachelor’s Degrees in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field. Also, at least eight years of engineering (i.e. civil or transportation) experience, including 3-5 years’ supervisory experience. Five years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or related public works roles desired. PE license preferred, would consider someone with a transportation planning background.
