This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
Our Greater Minnesota Shared Mobility Coordinator position establishes and manages MnDOT’s Greater Minnesota Shared Mobility Program, setting program goals and objectives and identifying opportunities for regional transit providers and other partners to implement and integrate with innovative transportation options and technology-enabled shared mobility services such as bikeshare, carshare, micromobility, carpooling, vanpooling, ridesharing, on-demand microtransit, ridehailing and ridesourcing. The incumbent will also be responsible for:
- Managing consultants, partners, project leads, and other staff working on program projects.
- Overseeing project procurements and consulting contracts.
- Identifying and leading creation of deliverables for the program.
- Setting budgeting and financial reporting processes for the program.
- Work closely with local and regional staff and partners across Greater Minnesota and in the role as subject matter technical expert will represent MnDOT on shared mobility matters at public meetings including legislative committees and to agency peers at the national level.
- Travel around Greater Minnesota for meetings less than 5% of time.

Here are the Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of advanced professional experience in administering large scale programs.
Experience must also demonstrate the following:
- Experience with shared mobility (i.e. public transit, bikesharing, carsharing, ridesharing, etc.).
- Experience with program planning.
- Experience with budget policies and practices.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration, Planning, Business, Finance substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience.
